Central Bank reserves amounted to $116.1 billion

The total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT) decreased by $5 billion 400 million in the week of April 20 compared to the previous week and decreased to $116 billion 131 million.

Weekly Money and Bank Statistics were published by the CBRT.

Accordingly, as of April 20, the gross foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank decreased by $2 billion 533 million to $66 billion 878 million. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of $69 billion 411 million on April 14.

In the said period, gold reserves decreased by $2 billion 866 million from $52 billion 119 million to $49 billion 253 million.

Thus, the Central Bank’s total reserves decreased from $121 billion 531 million to $116 billion 131 million in the week of April 20, with a decrease of $5 billion 400 million compared to the previous week.
