Central Bank Reserves Decrease to $131.8 Billion

The total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) fell to $131.8 billion in the week of February 23, recording a decrease of $2.458 billion compared to the previous week.

The weekly monetary and banking statistics of the CBRT have been disclosed.

As of February 23, the gross foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank decreased by $3.613 billion to $82.479 billion. The gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of $86.092 billion on February 16.

During this period, gold reserves increased by $1.155 billion, reaching $49.271 billion, compared to $48.116 billion.

The total reserves of the Central Bank decreased to $131.8 billion in the week of February 23, showing a decrease of $2.458 billion compared to the previous week when it was $134.208 billion.
