An ounce of gold was traded around $2,300 today, with a decrease of 1.54%.
Gram and quarter prices were affected by both ounce gold and Dollar/TL.
Gram gold remained around ₺2,397. Quarter gold changed hands at ₺3,902.
Global gold demand increased by 3% in the first quarter of the year compared to the same period of 2023, reaching 1238.3 tons, due to the demand from Asia, especially China and India, and the increase in purchases by central banks.
Investors focused on the upcoming Fed interest rate decision and US non-farm employment data.
The Fed is expected to keep the interest rate constant at 5.25-5.5%.
Non-agricultural employment figures will be announced on Friday.
