While Daikin became the sector champion in the list of top 1000 exporters in 2022 announced by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), it also achieved an important success by being in the 70th place in the general ranking.
According to the statement made by Daikin, the company is crowning the results of its investments in production and R&D in 2022 with the awards it has received.
In the general ranking of all sectors, Daikin, which was in the 81st place last year, managed to increase its export revenues by 31.5% and rose to the 70th place this year.
Daikin Turkiye Board Member Zeki Ozen, whose views are included in the statement, stated that since 2011, when they started operating as a direct investor, they have continued to grow every year, adding:
‘In this, the importance we attach to R&D and production has a great place. We are in a position to reach CIS countries with the products we produce in our factory in Sakarya Hendek, and to Europe with the VRV outdoor units we produce. We demonstrate this success with the export awards we receive every year. In the 2022 financial year, we became the champion in our sector with our export income of approximately $330 million. In order to make our investments sustainable, we will continue to offer our environmentally friendly, high-tech products that meet consumer expectations and take steps to strengthen production in Turkiye.’
