Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev approved the agreement between Turkiye and Azerbaijan to abolish double taxation on income.
The decision of Azerbaijani President Aliyev to approve the “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Turkiye and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Preventing Double Taxation in Taxes on Income and Preventing Tax Evasion and Tax Avoidance” was published on the website of the Presidency of Azerbaijan.
The agreement was signed in Ankara by Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Simsek and Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Mikail Cabbarov at the ceremony on February 19, where President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Azerbaijani President Aliyev were also present.
Aliyev also approved the “Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Veterinary Medicine between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Turkiye”, which was also signed on February 19.
