Amasra Port Welcomes Second Cruise Ship of the Season with 898 Passengers

The cruise ship named “Astoria Grande” departing from Sochi, Russia, arrived at Amasra Port.

The passengers of the 193 meters long and 30 meters wide, 11-storey ship, which came to Amasra district, a tourism city in Bartin, famous for its nature and sea, with 898 passengers and a crew of 438 people, were welcomed by District Governor Kadir Perci, Mayor Recai Cakir and other relevant people.

Tourists, whose procedures were completed, were given Russian-language brochures introducing Amasra at the port exit. The tourists then left the port to see the historical and touristic places in the district.

Visitors will visit Amasra Museum, Tow Trucks Bazaar, Grand Port, Amasra Castle and Kemere Bridge accompanied by guides throughout the day.

It was learned that the second cruise of the season, which reached Amasra via Istanbul, will depart for Samsun in the evening.

Last year, 16 thousand 974 Russian tourists came to Amasra, the coastal city of Bartin, with cruise ships.
