One of Turkiye’s leading hotel chains, Elite World Hotels & Resorts, has inaugurated its first franchise hotel under the Elite World Comfy brand in Samsun Atakum.
The official opening took place on October 21, 2023, in collaboration with Yazıcı Konaklama Turizm.
The event, hosted by Elite World Hotels & Resorts Executive Chairman Vedat Elik and Yazıcı Konaklama Turizm Board Chairpersons Dr. Alikemal Yazıcı and Nurten Yazıcı, was attended by prominent figures from Samsun.
Investor Dr. Alikemal Yazıcı expressed his delight at being the investor for the first franchise hotel in the Elite World Hotels & Resorts chain. He emphasized the significance of collaborating with the Elite World brand and expressed confidence in the success of this partnership. Highlighting Samsun’s natural beauty, active commercial life, cultural significance, and its role as a symbolic city in Turkiye’s foundation, Yazıcı believes the hotel will serve as a new meeting and culinary hub for the city, especially with the inclusion of the Alizya restaurant led by renowned chef Murat Bozok.
Emel Elik Bezaroğlu, Board Member in charge of Sales and Marketing at Elite World Hotels & Resorts, noted that the opening of Elite World Comfy Samsun Atakum marks a new phase in their half-century-long journey in tourism. She praised the franchise business model, emphasizing the need for trusted brands in Turkiye’s accommodation sector due to the country’s vast population and diverse travel reasons. Bezaroğlu also revealed plans to open Elite World GO Van Edremit by the end of the year under the franchise model and mentioned two more hotel projects in the pipeline.
