It is possible to produce more with less resources

Production has become extremely difficult with rising energy prices, drying up lakes, changing or disappearing precipitation regimes. The world population, which is predicted to reach 10 billion in a few decades, draws attention to the fact that it will be critical not only to produce but also to produce more with less. With the increasing social awareness, existing problems are now taken seriously and all institutions are looking for full-scale solutions. Stating that they put the management of water and the lack of infrastructure at this point in the center, esular Co-Founder and CEO Erhan Sandal underlines the importance of not only producing, but also using the resources correctly. Erhan Sandal said that while providing both more efficient water use and water-based energy and labor optimization, they create value by eliminating problems that create additional costs such as loss, leakage, and explosion with artificial intelligence-supported solutions. “Our vision will be to provide high benefits to both producers and investors with the solutions we offer in the agriculture and water sector in the future. As the world’s resources are rapidly decreasing, we all know that meeting the needs of more people will be a big problem worldwide in the future and therefore agricultural production will become even more important. In this context, it is very important to develop real solutions within better production techniques and to be a part of these solutions. esular has proven that it is possible to produce more with the power of technology and using less resources.”

The startup, which successfully concluded many B2B sales negotiation processes that it started in 2021, earned ₺1.5 million in direct sales revenue from these sales. With the awards received and the support of TEYDEB 1507, it reached a volume exceeding ₺2 million in 2022. In 2023, it has secured similar figures with both ongoing projects and pre-sales from B2B. In addition, it reached the farmers in regions such as Osmaniye, Sanliurfa, Mersin, Konya, Izmir, Bursa and ensured the sale of the product.

Sandal said, “Even though we carry out our 2019 – 2020 activities with our own resources and sales revenue, we decided to accelerate our investment processes with the increasing demands and the increasing needs created by the problems we have identified. In this process, we accelerated our growth and started to accelerate thanks to the cash awards we received through the ITU BigBang 2021 process. The needs in the field of irrigation and water management, which we are targeting at the point we have reached, continue to increase with the increasing impact of global warming and climate crisis. We decided to go on an investment tour to increase our share in this market and use it for growth.”

Will open to global markets in the fourth quarter of 2023

Prepared for the coming years with new investments, marketing activities and developing technological solutions, esular will focus on the first orders from new corporate customers, especially in the first half of 2023. The initiative aims to reach a more functional and wider market by re-planning the production process of the product that has proven itself in the field with solid model (box) designs. Esular, which will launch its products with improved industrial design in the second quarter of 2023, will open to foreign markets in the fourth quarter of 2023. In this context, the initiative plans to operate in the leading European producer countries such as Romania, Bulgaria, France, Spain and Italy, as well as in regions under water stress such as Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, which need the technologies it has developed.
