5 Turkish fintechs have been selected for the 2023 period of the Visa Europe Innovation Program

Visa Europe Innovation Program has selected 5 fintechs that will participate in the 2023 period among 55 applications for Turkiye. Selected fintechs will collaborate with Visa’s customers and business partners to develop and promote innovation in the finance and payments sector, and will receive acceleration support from Hackquarters in the process.

Visa Europe Innovation Program announced the five fintechs selected for the 2023 period in Turkiye.

As a collaboration and acceleration platform for innovative fintechs in Europe, the program will once again bring together the entrepreneurial ecosystem with Visa and its global business partners to foster innovation in the finance and payments sectors. Running in Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Malta, Portugal, Turkiye and Greece, the program has received more than 1,000 fintech applications from more than 50 countries since its launch in 2018. In this period alone, the number of applications approached 300.

In the Turkiye leg of the program, which will be carried out together with Hackquarters, the fintechs selected from a total of 55 applications for the Turkiye program this year were Subscribersepeti, Agrio Finans, Craftgate, Enqura and Recepta. The selected fintechs all demonstrated their business models, know-how and passion for growth with the potential to be internationally scalable. During the program, fintechs will develop their game-changing solutions, empower merchants and SMEs, uncover new payment flows, and work to build a smart and sustainable future with integrated finance.

Visa Europe Innovation Program provides access to Visa’s infrastructure, including one-on-one mentor meetings, advice, technological opportunities and customer access to the fintech ecosystem.

Fintechs selected from Turkiye for Visa Europe Innovation Program 2023:

  • Abonesepeti: Subscribersepeti is a subscription management platform that helps to start, manage, terminate and more all subscriptions in one app. Thus, it provides solutions to all subscription problems from the first service start to the subscription cancellation process, thus saving the consumer time and money.
  • Agrio Finance: Agrio is an impact-driven financial technology solution that prepares the agriculture and food economy for the Green Deal. The solution enables the issuance of Green Deal-compliant digital assets for the agriculture and food supply chain with a structure of supervised financial authorization.
  • Craftgate: “One-Stop” Shop Payment Orchestration. Craftgate is a payment orchestration tool that allows you to integrate all bank virtual POS, domestic and international payment institutions and alternative payment methods into your system from a single point and manage them all from a single panel.
  • Enqura: The next generation remote identification platform. It is a super-fast remote customer, identity and face verification solution that won the gold award for excellence in innovation in the financial industry at the international Stevie awards in 2023.
  • Recepta: Recepta is a platform that helps businesses provide customized paper and digital receipts to their customers at checkout without requiring any personal information such as email or phone number. Recepta uses the payment card number to identify the customer and ensures that customers are protected from spam emails, calls and marketing messages.
