Minister Bolat: “Turkey’s economy has grown fivefold in 21 years” Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat inaugurated the Historical City Square Facade Improvement brought to Ereğli by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality and the Ereğli (IS: EREGL) National Garden completed by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change.
Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, speaking at the opening ceremony of the Historical City Square Facade Improvement and Ereğli National Garden, said, “I have never shown indifference. Because I love our people very much, I love my nation very much, I love my country very much.”
Emphasizing the importance of the March 31 elections, Minister Bolat said, “Our noble nation, our people from Konya, our people from Ereğli have supported our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who has been the world leader for 21 years, and his colleagues. May God be pleased with you. Our President and his colleagues, thank God, did not embarrass you. If they hadn’t worked, if they hadn’t served, they would have been sent home in the first election.”
Minister Bolat expressed that Turkey’s economy has grown fivefold in 21 years, stating, “The national income of 230 billion dollars has been increased to 1 trillion 119 billion dollars. We see the effects of this in our lives. Let’s think about our lives 20 years ago; let’s think about our living standards, our quality of life, our consumption, and our level of prosperity. Today, there is a completely different Turkey. All 81 provinces are sacred to us. Serving them is our passion.”
Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Uğur İbrahim Altay, on the other hand, stated that they always come to Ereğli with full bags and said, “When we came last time, we inaugurated 8 football fields. On Wednesday, we laid the foundation of the Bilgehan project, which will serve our youth and students, where the old courthouse building was located. Today, we are inaugurating the facade improvement that we have brought to Ereğli. It’s not over yet; God willing, on Tuesday, with the participation of our Ereğli Mayor and the protocol, we will lay the foundation of the Truck Garage.”
