It was reported that 99,389 tourists visited the Cappadocia region, which is one of the important centers in Turkiye’s natural, historical and cultural tourism, last month.
Nevsehir Governor’s Office shared the number of tourists visiting museums and ruins in the region in February.
According to the statement, 99 thousand 389 people visited the museums and ruins last month, 34 thousand 185 of them with a museum card.
While Goreme Open Air Museum is one of the most visited tourism centers with 30 thousand 164 people, 26 thousand 112 tourists visited Zelve Ruins, 14 thousand 357 tourists visited Derinkuyu Underground City and 13 thousand 494 tourists visited Kaymakli Underground City.
In the same month of last year, 83 thousand 432 tourists visited the region.
