Domestic startup Robeff, which works on electric and driverless delivery vehicles, received a seed investment of over $1.5 million. Tura Yildiz Tekno GSYO and Adventures Venture Capital Investment Fund participated. No information was shared about financial transactions related to the investment.

Founded in 2021 by Ozkan Koroglu, Coskun Arslan, Yunus Emre Elaydin, Ahmet Can Kara and Huseyin Baki Inan at YTU Yildiz Teknopark, the technology initiative aims to shape the future by developing electric driverless delivery robots on a larger scale. When the venture was founded, it both started a cooperation and accelerated its work by receiving a pre-seed investment from Leo Drive.

Robeff aims to create a more efficient, inexpensive, predictable and traceable delivery process. Thanks to the initiative’s versatile design approach, multiple deliveries on a single route, and route optimization algorithms they developed, they aim to reduce jammed traffic to create a more sustainable delivery process.

Currently working with a team of 12 people, Robeff aims to accelerate R&D studies by expanding his team in line with his goals. This investment will be used for Robeff to complete the prototype vehicle and start delivery operations by the end of 2023. The goals of the initiative include performing the first autonomous drive with the prototype vehicle in March 2023 and carrying out the first end-to-end delivery operation in August 2023.

After completing its first delivery operation, the venture plans to be able to make continuous deliveries in at least 3 different locations by collaborating with the markets in Turkiye. After these studies, the first target is the European market. By 2024, Robeff aims to start pilot studies in at least 2 different countries in Europe.
