ETH ETF Approval Timeline
The SEC, which has repeatedly postponed the evaluation of ETH ETF applications, is expected to make decisions on two applications this week.
According to reports:
- The SEC will announce its decision on VanEck’s spot Ethereum ETF application on May 23 at 11 p.m. ET.
- On Friday, May 24, ARK Invest will disclose the final decision regarding the spot ETF applications submitted by its companies.
Increased Approval Expectations
Bloomberg ETF analysts Eric Balchunas and James Seyffart have reported that the SEC has been urging applicants to expedite their 19b-4 filings, indicating a higher chance of approval. As a result, Balchunas and Seyffart have raised the probability of Ethereum ETF approval from 5% to 75%.
