The number of industrial capacity reports approved by TOBB in October increased by 9.1% on a monthly basis and reached 4 thousand 896.
The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkiye (TOBB) announced the industrial capacity report data for October.
Accordingly, the number of capacity reports approved last month increased by 9.1% on a monthly basis, reaching 4 thousand 896. It decreased by 3.8% on an annual basis.
The 5 provinces for which the most capacity reports were prepared were Istanbul (1298), Bursa (361), Ankara (307), Izmir (281) and Konya (248).
While the total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industry Database was 94 thousand 284 in October 2022, it increased by 3.3% and reached 97 thousand 370 last month.
The total number of employees was calculated as 3 million 995 thousand 259, with an increase of 4.2% in the same period.
