Global technology platform Uber takes its users to the sky in Cappadocia by offering the opportunity to book a balloon ride through the application. Uber Balloon will be one of the most unique experiences ever offered to users through the app. Uber makes the balloon ride, which can be done in the UNESCO World Heritage Goreme National Park and is considered a bucket-list experience in the world, easily accessible by pressing a single button through the Uber application.
From hotel to balloon ride with one click
Balloon rides will start at sunrise in Goreme, Cappadocia, and Uber users will have an unforgettable flight experience of approximately 1.5 hours in Goreme National Park, famous for its magical fairy chimneys and magnificent architecture carved into limestone. Upon takeoff, users will be able to watch the unique Cappadocia view from a height of approximately 900 meters.
Uber users will be able to book this unique ride through the application starting from October 23. All hotel transfers will be included within the scope of Uber Balloon trips and can be booked at a special fixed fee per person. Uber will gift 100 balloon rides to Uber users to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkiye.
Balloon service is a first in the world of Uber

Since the beginning of this year, the Uber application has been used 26 million times to call a car in Turkiye. This year, more than 38 thousand taxi drivers actively used the Uber application to travel in a total of 9 cities where we operate, including Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir. Compared to the same period last year, trips made through the application increased by more than 50%.”

Reservations can be made up to 12 hours in advance
Free Uber Balloon rides are limited to 100, are subject to weather conditions and are valid between October 23 and November 19. Users who want to experience Uber Balloon must reserve their ride through the application. In order to make a reservation for the next day, Uber users must complete their Uber Balloon reservations through the application by 18.00 on the same day.
