THY Teknik will carry out the aircraft maintenance of SWISS Airlines

Turkish Airlines Teknik signed an agreement with Switzerland’s Swiss Airlines for the maintenance services of 7 Airbus A330 aircraft.

According to the statement made by THY Press Consultancy, the maintenance of the first aircraft within the scope of the agreement will begin this month.

The other 7 aircraft will be maintained at THY Teknik Inc.’s facilities in Istanbul in the coming months.

THY Technical Deputy General Manager Yasin Birinci stated that they are happy that SWISS Airlines entrusted their aircraft maintenance services to them.

Emphasizing that meeting customers’ expectations with high-quality and reliable maintenance-repair services makes them a reliable business partner for new customers, Birinci said that he believes that this agreement will pave the way for a long-term partnership between the two companies.

Dr. Claus Bauer, Deputy General Manager of SWISS Technical Fleet Management, stated that they will continue to maintain their strategic cooperation with maintenance-repair companies. “We believe that Turk HavaYolları Teknik Inc., which provides services to Turkish Airlines’ A330 fleet, will be experienced and have a competitive performance in this aircraft type.
