Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) has applied to extend the oil exploration license period in the Black Sea region for 3 years as of August 23, 2023.
The announcement of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs, was published in today’s issue of the Official Gazette.
TPAO applied for an extension of the oil exploration license for a period of 3 years as of August 23, 2023, when the term of the oil exploration license will expire for the fields located in the Exclusive Economic Zone or the continental shelf within the maritime jurisdiction areas determined by bilateral delimitation agreements in the Black Sea.
