BIST 100 index earns some 6 points at opening session
The Turkish benchmark stock index opened Wednesday at 8,480.29 points, gaining 0.07% or six points versus the previous close.
On Tuesday, the BIST 100 index closed increasing slightly by 0.03% to 8,474.30 points, with a daily transaction volume of 102 billion Turkish liras ($3.34 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira (USD/TRY) exchange rate was 30.3650 as of 10.18 (GMT0718),the EUR/TRY rate stood at 32.8860, while the GBP/TRY rate was 38.4860.
One ounce of gold was for $2,054.45, while the barrel price of Brent oil was around $82.20.
