While the sales are increased compared to the former month by 19,1 percent, sales are decreased by 44,6 percent compared to the last year’s sales.
According to the statistics, Istanbul takes the first place with 7640 sales covering 15 percent. Ankara follows with 4939 sales covering 9,7 percent and then Izmir with 3096 sales covering 6,1 percent. The least number of sales are recorded in Ardahan, Hakkari and Tunceli.
Mortgaged House Sales
Compared to May 2019 sales, mortgaged house sales are increased by 23,9 percent. Mortgaged house sales cover 36,3 percent of the housing market. Istanbul takes the first place with 13,9 percent by making 2570 mortgaged sales while Ardahan is the least with 2 sales.
The Decreasing Sales
The first and second hand house sales are decreased compared to May 2019 by 54,7 and 37,7 percent. First hand sales are estimated to cover the 33,1 percent of housing market, Istanbul comes first with 2546 first hand house sales and 5094 second hand sales.
Compared to May 2019, house sales of foreign national people sales decreased by 78,1 percent.
Istanbul comes first with 423 sales and in total, 860 houses are sold to foreign.
