Local manufacturing industry units operate at 77.5% of capacity in November, survey shows
The capacity utilization rate of Turkiye’s manufacturing industry increased month-on-month in November, according to official data released on Friday.
Turkish Central Bank data showed that local manufacturing industry units operated at 77.5% of their capacity this month,rising by 0.7 points from last month.
The seasonally adjusted capacity utilization rate in the manufacturing industry increased 0.6 points from October to 78% in November.
While the highest capacity utilization in September was in investment goods at 78.9%, the lowest was in non-durable consumer goods at 73.3%.
Capacity utilization rate figures are based on the responses to a business tendency survey of local units operating in the manufacturing industry.
