Turkiye: $1.15 billion worth of exports from the Southeastern Anatolia Region

It was reported that exports from the Southeastern Anatolia Region in October were $1 billion 149 million 575 thousand.

Southeastern Anatolia Exporters’ Association Coordinator President Ahmet Fikret Kileci stated in his written statement that they are working to increase the exports of the region.

Stating that exports are progressing positively, Kileci continued as follows:

“After the earthquake, our exports were shaken and dropped to the level of $600 million on a monthly basis. With the support of our state and nation, we have recently entered a rapid recovery process and exceeded the level of $1 billion on a monthly basis again. We continued this performance that we showed in the last 3 months in October, when we celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Republic. We reached exports of $1 billion 149 thousand in October and $9.6 billion in a 10-month period. We are pleased to follow the decisions announced by our new economic management in favor of exporters. We want to achieve new successes in the second century of our Republic.”

Kileci noted that they continue to work to increase the export potential of the region and will continue to do their best to maintain production.
