“Many provinces were damaged in the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaras. Among them, Gaziantep and Kahramanmaras, which are at the top in the textile industry, were damaged and affected. This situation was reflected in the exports of the sector, but its negative effects are slowly disappearing. Our industry’s exports in the 9 months of the year are over 7 billion. Despite these events, we will continue to work tirelessly in the face of all obstacles and difficulties. In the 100th anniversary of our Republic, we will continue to do our part by producing and exporting within the scope of our 2023 export targets, while maintaining the success of our sector with sectoral purchasing and trade delegations, sustainability and adaptation to green transformation, design competitions and trainings.”
