Turkiye: Confidence indices has been announced

The confidence index decreased by 2.4% in the service sector, 1.9% in the retail trade sector and increased by 2.2% in the construction sector in November compared to last month.

Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) announced the service, retail trade and construction confidence indices for November.

Accordingly, the seasonally adjusted confidence index decreased by 2.4% to 110.9 in the service sector on a monthly basis in November, decreased by 1.9% to 111.7 in the retail trade sector, and increased by 2.2% to 91 in the construction sector.

In the service sector, compared to the previous month, the business situation decreased by 4% in the last 3 months, the demand for services decreased by 4.6% in the last 3 months, while the demand expectation for services in the next 3 months increased by 1.6%.

In the retail trade sector, compared to last month, business volume-sales decreased by 3.3% in the last 3-month period, business volume-sales expectation in the next 3-month period decreased by 2.1%, while the current goods stock level did not change.

In the construction sector, compared to last month, the current level of registered orders received increased by 1.7%, and the total number of employees expectation sub-index in the next 3 months increased by 2.6%.
