Turkiye: Overseas Producer Price Index increased on a monthly basis

Overseas Producer Price Index increased by 2.43% on a monthly basis in April and became 40.1% on an annual basis.

Turkish Statistical Institute announced the YD-PPI data for the period of April 2023.

Accordingly, YD-PPI increased by 2.43% in April compared to the previous month, by 8.74% compared to December of the previous year, by 40.10% compared to the same month of the previous year and by 73.63% compared to the twelve-month averages.

Manufacturing increased 40.21% annually

The annual changes in the two sectors of the industry were 34.14% in mining and quarrying, and 40.21% in manufacturing.

The annual changes of the main industrial groups were 38.34% in intermediate goods, 44.23% in durable consumer goods, 40.77% in non-durable consumer goods, 14.70% in energy and 44.90% in capital goods.

The monthly changes in the two sectors of the industry were 2.20% in mining and quarrying, and 2.43% in manufacturing.

The monthly changes in the main industrial groups were 2.04% in intermediate goods, 2.15% in durable goods, 2.48% in non-durable goods, 0.11% in energy and 3.84% in capital goods.
