Hakan Akcam, President of Ankara Professional Chamber of Real Estate Agents, said that they predict that housing prices will continue to follow this trend and even decrease by 1-2 points in the first half of the new year.

Akcam stated that there has been a decrease in rents for the last month and said, “It will continue in this course in 2024. It will remain stable again after the students leave, such as May and June. We believe that there will be movement when the schools open during the appointment period, such as September and October.”

Akcam emphasized that some of the citizens are waiting for this loan package and said, “They declared that they will open a loan to the citizens who buy their first home for 1.20 to 180 months. This will be implemented soon.”

It is expected that suitable loans will be put into effect with the new study. It is anticipated that this situation will further stimulate the market.
