$50 million investment decision from Doganlar Holding

Doganlar Holding, which closed the year 2021 with growth with 28 companies in 4 different sectors in which it operates, set its sights on the summit this year. Setting a leadership target in the energy and furniture sectors, the holding aims to be among the top 50 groups in its 50th year with an investment of $50 million. Announcing that it will continue to take strong steps in the retail, energy and construction sectors, especially in furniture, the holding has set a turnover target of ₺5.2 billion for this year. In the furniture group, the targeted sales revenue was announced as ₺3.2-3.4 billion.

The group, which includes the brands Dogtaa, Kelebek, Kelebek Mutfak Bathroom, Lova Bed and Ruum Store, continues on its way with the expectation of opening 100-120 new sales points throughout Turkey and 15-20 new sales points abroad this year. The group, which also has significant growth targets abroad, includes Senegal and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, along with the USA, where it opened its own companies. Saying that they set their targets high in employment this year, Doganlar Holding Chairman of the Board Davut Dogan said, “We will continue to provide employment this year as well. We are taking firm steps towards becoming a family of 30 thousand people with the target of new employment for 750 people. We will continue to support employment with the investments to be made in our new facilities.”

ALSO GROWING IN AFRICA

Stating that they are in talks with the construction company Dogyap for important projects especially in Africa, Dogan pointed out that they have invested a total of $10 million for the D’Afric Senegal investment, which will start production at the end of February, and underlined that they foresee a significant increase in foreign investments. Adding to his words that they continue their investments in this region with different tender offers, Dogan said that they will launch a new project in Africa within the year.
