As the New Year approaches, there is a 25% increase in flight ticket sales in Turkiye

Biletbayisi.com observed a 25% increase in flight ticket sales for the New Year’s holiday compared to last year.

According to the statement made by the company, the fact that January 1, 2024 falls on a Monday has accelerated holidaymakers’ search for an opportunity for a 3-day “getaway”. There is a remarkable increase in demand for popular destinations at home and abroad.

While the new year is just around the corner, a 25% increase was observed in flight ticket sales via Biletbayisi.com compared to last year. This increase reveals that holiday lovers are more inclined to make special plans for the New Year’s holiday.

During the New Year’s holiday, demands from different regions of Turkiye come to the fore. Popular regions such as Antalya, Cappadocia and Uludag are among the destinations that offer hot and cold weather alternatives. A wide range, from sunny beaches to snowy mountains, appeals to the preferences of holidaymakers.

Biletbayisi.com’s web and mobile application statistics reflect user preferences in the last week of 2023 in detail.

Domestically, Istanbul, Antalya, Ankara, Izmir, Trabzon and Kayseri were among the destinations that attracted great attention.

The most economical domestic flight ticket sale during the year-end week was ₺519 in the “Istanbul Izmir Flight Ticket” category. On the other hand, the highest priced domestic flight “Trabzon Erzurum Flight Ticket” was sold at ₺59 thousand 870 for a family of 4.

The most affordable flight option abroad was purchased in the “Istanbul Paris Flight Ticket” category for ₺479, and the most expensive international flight was purchased in the “Kayseri New York Flight Ticket” category for ₺105 thousand 780 with a ticket price for 2 people.
