Non-residents (foreign investors) sold $178.4 million worth of stock last week.
Weekly Securities Statistics has been published by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT).
Accordingly, non-residents sold net $178.4 million of stocks in the week of April 28, while they bought $11 million of Government Domestic Debt Securities (GDDS) and $1.5 million of Company Debt Securities (SBS).
The stock of non-residents, which was $25 billion 277.2 million as of April 20, decreased to $23 billion 746.9 million on 28 April.
In the same period, the GDDS stock of non-residents decreased from $1 billion 110.4 million to $1 billion 97.4 million, while the stocks of SIS increased from $70.4 million to $71.8 million.
