Of the 348 fairs to be held in Turkiye next year, 34 will be held in the fields of education/training equipment and 30 in the fields of agriculture, greenhouse farming, animal husbandry and technologies.
According to the “2024 Fair Calendar” prepared by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkiye (TOBB), 102 of the 348 fairs to be held next year will be international.
In this year, education/training equipment and technologies and agriculture, greenhouse farming, animal husbandry and technologies will be at the top of the list as the areas where the most fairs will be organized.
In this context, 34 fairs will be opened in the education/training equipment and technologies sector and 30 fairs in the agriculture, greenhouse farming, animal husbandry and technologies sector. 28 fairs will be organized in the food sector, 20 in the heating, cooling and ventilation sector, 13 in the medicine and medical devices sector, and 11 in the furniture sector.
Of the 348 fairs to be held in 2024, 102 will be international, 242 will be specialized and 4 will be general fairs.
When we look at the distribution of fairs by province, Istanbul ranks first with 195. This province is followed by Izmir with 34, Antalya with 20, Ankara with 15 and Bursa with 14.
Educational equipment and technologies fair will be held in 6 citie
34 fairs in the field of education/training equipment and technologies; It will be organized in Istanbul, Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, Adana and Izmir.
In this field, Istanbul with 16 fairs and Ankara with 6 fairs will be the cities that will host the most events. In addition to these provinces, 6 provinces of Izmir and one each of Adana, Antalya and Bursa will host fairs in the said area.
Agriculture, greenhouse farming, animal husbandry and technologies fairs will be held in 20 provinces, especially Antalya, Gaziantep, Istanbul, Izmir, Samsun, Burdur and Mugla. Antalya stands out in this field with 4 fairs.
8 of the 30 fairs to be held in the mentioned area will be international.
