Istanbul Airport became the busiest airport in Europe with an average of 1301 flights per day between 15-21 January.
The European Aviation Report of the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) for 15 to 21 January has been published.
According to the report, Istanbul Airport ranked first among the busiest airports in Europe with an average of 1301 flights per day during this period.
Istanbul Airport was followed by London Heathrow with an average of 1164 flights per day and Amsterdam Schiphol airports with 1103 flights.
