The facilities open in Bodrum, Turkiye’s favorite tourism center, have completed their preparations for the New Year.
Bodrum, which hosts local and foreign guests from many parts of the world and Turkiye during the summer months, is expected to be in demand as we enter the new year.
Tourism professionals in Bodrum invite those who want to have an active and well-organized New Year’s holiday to the district.
Bodrum Hoteliers Association (BODER) President Omer Faruk Dengiz told the AA correspondent that guests from surrounding provinces and districts can also participate in different organizations to be held in the district.
Explaining that the municipality will also organize a program within the framework of the new year, Dengiz stated that they expect the density in the district to be above their expectations.
Dengiz stated that a very busy flight was also observed and said:
“According to the information we received, from December 29 until the New Year, almost half of the 21 flights seem to be full. I think you need to make flight reservations as soon as possible. Reservations should not be left to the last minute. I think it’s the best time of the year to come to Bodrum. Those who have a summer house in Bodrum will also organize programs. There will be movement in this too. Our hotels have already reached over 40% occupancy.”
Tourism professional Orhan Kavala said that he thought Bodrum would welcome New Year’s Eve better than other tourism regions, just like every New Year’s Eve.
Stating that the occupancy rate in Bodrum is around 50% and that he thinks this increase will increase in the coming days, Kavala said:
“I hope that both the tradesmen and the citizens will have a nice New Year’s Eve. I wish this wholeheartedly, too. The normal population of Bodrum is 200 thousand, but there are 600 thousand people living there. Some of them come from outside the city. Although some of these people will stay in homes, others will stay in accommodation. Accordingly, it will be possible for them to have a holiday in Bodrum at reasonable prices.”

Hotel operator Hadi Turk also stated that they, as operators, have made all preparations and are waiting for guests who want to enter the new year in Bodrum.
Stating that guests who prefer a slightly more temperate climate will come to Bodrum, Turk said, “Although it is not like summer, a nice New Year’s holiday awaits us in Bodrum. The reason why people prefer Bodrum during this period is the nice climate. Bodrum is a perfect destination. As every year, our guests will choose Bodrum. There will also be concerts and live music organizations for New Year’s Eve in Bodrum.”
