
The automotive industry was the sector that realized the most exports last month.
According to the data of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), the automotive industry, which achieved $2.7 billion in exports last month, was followed by chemicals and products with $2.1 billion, and ready-made clothing and apparel with $1.5 billion.
In July, the highest increase in exports was realized in the ship yacht and services sector with 359%.
The industrial group, which realized 79.7% of Turkiye’s total exports last month, increased by 3.8% to $14 billion 15 million. In the aforementioned period, exports in the agricultural group, which comprised 17.7% of the total exports, amounted to $3 billion 105 million with an increase of 17.7%, and $462.9 million with a decrease of 5.2 in the mining group, which had a share of 2.6% from the total exports.
Most exports were made to Germany
The countries with the highest exports in July were Germany with $1.5 billion, Italy with $1.1 billion and the USA with $916.8 million.
On the basis of provinces, the highest foreign sales were listed as Istanbul with $7.2 billion, Kocaeli with $1.5 billion and Bursa with $1.2 billion.
