The number of companies established in Turkiye increased by 1.3% compared to the previous month in October, reaching 11 thousand 124, while the number of companies closed increased by 12.3% and reached 2 thousand 246.
The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkiye (TOBB) announced the statistics of established and closed companies for October.
Accordingly, the number of companies established in October increased by 1.3% compared to September, from 10 thousand 978 to 11 thousand 124. The number of companies closed in the same period increased by 12.3% to 2,246. 2 thousand companies were closed in September.
While the number of companies established in October decreased by 10.6% compared to the same month of the previous year, the number of companies closed increased by 31.7%.
