Ankara The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) announced the trade sales volume index for February.
According to the data, trade sales volume increased by 2.3 percent compared to the previous month. During this period, the sales volume for wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles increased by 3.1 percent, while wholesale trade sales volume increased by 1.6 percent.
During this period, retail trade sales volume also recorded a 3.5 percent increase.
Trade sales volume in February increased by 11.3 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. During the same period, the sales volume for wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles increased by 15.4 percent, while wholesale trade sales volume increased by 5.7 percent.
During this period, retail trade sales volume showed an increase of 25.1 percent.
