Founded 54 years ago in Bandirma district of Balikesir, the company ships the agricultural machines it produces with domestic resources to domestic markets and 15 countries.
The company, which operates in its facilities in Edincik District, on the 7th kilometer of the Balikesir-Canakkale highway, was founded in 1969 by entrepreneur Necdet Ergen.
The company, which has increased its product portfolio by improving itself through R&D in line with the needs of farmers, is managed by brothers Recep, Erdinc and Mustafa Ergen in the second generation.
The company, which entered the European market in 1998 and started exporting agricultural machinery to 7 countries, received “Quality Management System” and CE certificates in 2006.
The company continues its operations with 42 employees in the fields of sowing and fertilizing machines, grain drills, augers, hot air generators, automatic steering systems for vehicle, equipment and screen orientation, laser leveling and drainage solutions.
“We are constantly working on new projects with R&D studies”
KOYMAK Limited Company General Coordinator Recep Ergen told the AA correspondent that they export 40% of their production and sell 60% domestically.
Stating that their main field of activity is the production of sowing machines and solid fuel hot air generators, Ergen said, “We have been fighting for the sowing machine for 54 years. We have exports to 15 countries. We continue to improve our R&D and ourselves every year in line with our farmers’ problems and wishes, one-on-one with our farmers at home and abroad.”
Ergen stated that the product range includes hot air generators, mechanical and pneumatic grain planting machines and screw conveyor loading machines, all of his own designs.
Explaining that they have been producing in the facilities in Edincik since 1981, Ergen said:
“Our production facility serves the farmers in a closed area of 4,500 square meters and an open area of 9,500 square meters. We are three second generation brothers in the management of our company. We are always among the farmers and we produce 100% domestic machinery in line with their demands, and we are constantly working on new projects with R&D studies. Among the countries we export to are Bulgaria, Georgia, Palestine, Jordan, Iraq, Russia, Israel, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Greece, Albania and France.”
