An agreement was signed between Turkish Airlines (THY) Technic Inc. and Azerbaijan-based Silk Way West Airlines for the supply of maintenance and spare parts.
According to the statement made by THY Press Consultancy, thanks to the agreement, Silk Way West Airlines will have access to THY Technic Inc’s spare parts pool and will be able to benefit from maintenance and repair services for the necessary components.
THY Technic Inc. General Manager Mikail Akbulut, whose views were included in the statement, stated that they were happy to take the first step for a long-term cooperation with Silk Way West Airlines and said: “We are proud to be a leading solution partner worldwide with our years of experience in component maintenance and our wide component inventory. With our quality and reliable services, we will contribute to the operational efficiency of Silk Way West Airlines by providing component services to its Boeing 777 freighter fleet.”
Wolfgang Meier, General Manager of Silk Way West Airlines, said: “We are happy to join forces with THY Technic Inc. to strengthen our operational capabilities and provide air cargo service of the highest standard. This cooperation proves the importance we attach to providing fast and reliable service to our customers worldwide.”
