Daikin Turkiye continues to grow by ranking 151st in the Capital 500

Daikin Turkiye CEO Onder said, “In line with our goal of making Turkiye the production and logistics base of the air conditioning industry, we, together with our stakeholders and employees, make great contributions to both the development of our industry and the country’s economy.”

Daikin Turkiye, which ranked 113th in the 2022 ISO 500 list of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO), registered its success by ranking 151st in the Capital 500 research and 125th in the Fortune 500 rankings.

According to Daikin Turkiye’s statement, Daikin Turkiye, which has gained a well-deserved place in the air conditioning industry with its environmentally friendly and innovative products with superior technology, confirms this success by entering Turkiye’s most important rating surveys.

Daikin Turkiye, which achieved a growth of 34% in euro terms compared to the previous year in 2022, reaching €620 million in turnover and €370 million in exports, ranked 113th in the ‘Turkiye’s 500 Largest Industrial Enterprises’ Research prepared by ISO with these figures.

Ranked 151st in Capital 500, one of the most important reference surveys of the business world, Daikin Turkiye once again emphasized the power it derives from production and exports by ranking 125th in the Fortune 500 rankings.

Daikin Turkiye assumes the responsibility not only of Turkiye, but also of the CIS countries of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Tajikistan and Georgia, as well as the markets of Northern Iraq, Mongolia and TRNC. It draws attention as the production base of the region with its factory located in Sakarya Hendek.

Daikin, which continued its investments in Turkiye last year, opened the VRV outdoor unit production facility with an investment value of €13 million in May 2022. In parallel, Daikin Turkiye, which also announced the construction of the new R&D center building with an investment value of €3.5 million, has invested approximately €110 million in Turkiye since 2012.

With an export turnover of €320 million achieved in 2022, Daikin Turkiye became the export champion in the air conditioning sector in the 2022 ‘Turkiye’s Top 1000 Exporters’ ranking, according to the exporter research announced by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM).

Daikin Turkiye Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Hasan Onder, whose views were included in the statement, stated that Daikin is the leading brand of the air conditioning industry all over the world.

Onder said, ‘Leading its sector, Daikin has made great progress in Turkiye, where it has been operating since July 2011. In line with our goal of making Turkiye the production and logistics base of the air conditioning industry, we, together with our stakeholders and employees, make great contributions to both the development of our industry and the country’s economy. We attach great importance to R&D and we get the results of this by producing both growth and innovative production.’

Onder stated that this year they achieved a growth of 34% in euro terms compared to last year and reached a turnover of €620 million , and said:

‘Our export turnover was €370 million. These figures brought us to the 113th place in the ‘Turkiye’s 500 Largest Industrial Enterprises’ Research prepared by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry. This year, we showed our strength by ranking 151st in Capital 500, one of Turkiye’s most important surveys, and 125th in Fortune 500. Despite the global recession, I have full confidence that we will continue to grow from now on, and therefore reach much higher turnover in exports and the domestic market. ‘We are very proud to contribute to our country’s employment and economy, together with all my friends from the Daikin family.’
