Istanbul Airport became the busiest airport in Europe with an average of 1523 daily flights on 21-27 August.
The European Aviation Report of the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) for 21-27 August has been published.
According to the report, Istanbul Airport ranked first among the busiest airports in Europe with an average of 1523 flights per day during this period.
Istanbul Airport was followed by Amsterdam Schiphol with an average of 1382 flights per day, and Paris Charles de Gaulle airport with 1377 flights.
According to the report in question, Turkish Airlines carried out an average of 1642 flights per day during these dates.
