SunExpress was among the top 3 companies in service exports

SunExpress ranked 3rd among the companies that contributed the most to service exports in 2022 at the Export Champions Award Ceremony, which was held for the 30th time this year by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM).

According to the statement made by the company, SunExpress, a joint venture of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, was awarded at the ceremony organized by TIM. The company was among the top 3 companies that contributed the most to service exports across Turkiye in 2022.

At the ceremony held in Istanbul with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, SunExpress Deputy General Manager Tuncay Eminoglu received the award from the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloglu.

SunExpress set a record by carrying around 11 million passengers last year, and was named “The World’s Best Holiday Airline” in the global passenger survey conducted by Skytrax.

“WE HAVE ADDED 26 NEW ROUTES TO OUR FLIGHT NETWORK THIS YEAR”

Tuncay Eminoglu, Deputy General Manager of SunExpress, whose speech at the ceremony was included in the statement, stated that he was proud to receive this valuable award on behalf of SunExpress.

Eminoglu said, “As Turkiye’s tourism ambassador, we continue to successfully represent our country and create value for our economy. We added 26 new routes to our flight network this year, and we aim to set a new record in 2023 by carrying more than 12 million passengers.”
