Toyota expands its product family by increasing the distinctive SUV appeal of the RAV4 with the new RAV4 Adventure model
According to the statement made by Toyota, the RAV4 Adventure reflects a more extraordinary and powerful off-road style, which further carries the model’s spirit of “Going Everywhere”.
The new version is designed for users who want to go to unusual places, while also making use of the performance and efficiency of Toyota’s hybrid electric vehicle technology.
The RAV4 Adventure clearly reveals its adventurous identity with its striking front design. The all-black grille adds to the visual impact, while the Toyota logo is lowered and positioned on the double line running through the center of the grille.
The vehicle’s expressive stance and SUV style are further enhanced by the new black bezels on the front fog lights and the shiny silver under-bumper trim. This effect is further enhanced by wider fenders and new matte gray 19-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, a silver-colored under-bumper coating was placed in accordance with the overall design of the vehicle. The RAV4 Adventure also includes upgrades such as projector-type LED headlights and LED front fog lights.
The RAV4 Adventure is available with a unique bi-colour body option that references the light-coloured roof of Toyota’s classic FJ40 Land Cruiser. The Urban Khaki body, in which the roof, front pillars and rear spoiler have a dynamic gray color, makes the RAV4 Adventure model more different.
The cabin features a bespoke upholstery with seats combining smooth, black synthetic leather with quilted back and cushion sections, as well as contrasting orange stitching.
The RAV4 Adventure is powered by Toyota’s fourth-generation hybrid electric technology. Equipped with a smart all-wheel-drive system as standard, the vehicle also has a compact electric motor on the rear axle. Efficient yet powerful, this hybrid unit combines electric motors with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine, one of the most thermally efficient engines. The RAV4 Adventure produces a total of 222 HP and provides braked trailer towing up to 1,650 kg with the AWD-i system.
The RAV4 product range continues to successfully maintain its title as the best-selling SUV in the world. Introduced for the first time in 1994, the RAV4’s leading position continues with the RAV4 Hybrid, the best-selling SUV today.
European deliveries will begin in the first quarter of 2022 for the new Toyota RAV4 Adventure and the refreshed RAV4.
