The best of the entrepreneurship world are preparing for the Big Bang Startup Challenge event

The total valuation created by the startups within ITU Cekirdek reached $1.5 billion.

Turkiye’s largest entrepreneurship event, Big Bang Start-up Challenge, organized by ITU ARI Teknokent’s Incubation CenterITU Cekirdek, is preparing to bring together the entrepreneurial ecosystem from Turkiye and the world for two days this year.

According to the statement of ITU Cekirdek, the Big Bang Start-up Challenge, which will be held for the 12th time on 13-14 December 2023 and will introduce the best technology startups in their field to the business and investment world, will pave the way for entrepreneurs to meet with their core capital.

Big Bang, which provided more than ₺341 million in awards, investment and cash support to startups last year and ₺850 million in the last three years, is expected to create a much larger resource this year. The event, which will be held at UNIQ Istanbul, is counting the days to bring thousands of viewers focused on technology, entrepreneurship and innovation to share in this excitement.

ITU Cekirdek Incubation Center creates millions of dollars of added value for the Turkish economy by supporting an average of 500 startups every year.

Since its establishment in 2011, ITU Cekirdek has supported more than 4,200 technology startups and contributed to the incorporation of 1,400 of them, helping the startups create employment for 10 thousand people and receive an investment of $150 million. The total valuation created by the initiatives within ITU Cekirdek reached $1.5 billion.

Hundreds of startups that have been developing their projects with the support of ITU Cekirdek for more than 10 years at Big Bang, which has witnessed dozens of success stories so far, have accelerated with the awards and investments they received on the Big Bang stage and reached global success stories.

Among these startups, there are startups that have established a distributor network in more than 40 countries, received investments from Silicon Valley, caused changes in industries, and are unicorn candidates of the future. Much talked about initiatives are expected to be born in Big Bang 2023, as in previous years.
