The Economy Coordination Board meeting has been held

The Economy Coordination Board (EKK) convened under the chairmanship of Vice President Fuat Oktay.

A statement was made after the meeting at the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works (DSI).

In the statement, it was stated that in the axis of recent international and domestic developments, the current outlook and expectations regarding the Turkish economy were discussed at the meeting, and evaluations regarding the budget were also made.

The current situation regarding food supply security was discussed

In the statement, it was stated that the projections for the upcoming period were discussed at the meeting on the public finance side, and the current situation regarding food supply security was discussed, and the studies and projects carried out in this context were emphasized.

In the meeting, it was noted that the possibilities of cooperation in the field of agriculture that could be developed in the international arena were also discussed, and it was stated that the progress of the decisions taken at the previous meetings was reviewed and the views on additional steps to be taken were evaluated.

Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labor and Social Security, Fatih Donmez, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Nureddin Nebati, Minister of Treasury and Finance, Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank, Agriculture and Forestry Minister Vahit Kirisci, Presidential Strategy and Budget Head İbrahim Senel, Central Bank President Sahap Kavcioglu and representatives of related institutions and organizations attended the meeting.
