It was reported that Turkish Airlines (THY) planned flights to Catania today were temporarily suspended due to the eruption of Etna Volcano in the south of Italy.
According to the statement made by the THY Press Office on the subject, THY’s Istanbul-Catania-Istanbul flights, scheduled to be executed today, with flight numbers TK1395 and TK1396, were temporarily suspended.
THY has planned additional Palermo flights with the number TK6880 and TK6881 today so that the passengers who will use these flights will not suffer.
