Turkish Airlines (THY) was deemed worthy of the “APEX World Class” and “Five Star Global Airline of 2023” awards by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX), which is considered one of the most reliable and respected aviation organizations in the world.
According to the statement made by the THY Press Office, APEX evaluations are determined by the ratings of more than 1 million flights operated by approximately 600 airline companies worldwide by passengers.
As a result of the independent audits carried out by APEX under the consultancy of YATES+, based on health safety, sustainability and guest experience criteria, Turkish Airlines won the APEX World Class award for the second time in a row.
Only 8 airlines were deemed worthy of the “APEX World Class 2023” awards, which were held for the second time this year and given to a small number of airlines in the world.
Named “Five-Star Global Airline” for the sixth time
Flying to the most destinations in the world, THY was also named “Five-Star Global Airline” for the sixth time this year, based on passenger ratings.
THY Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat, whose views are included in the statement, stated that they are proud of receiving the award. “The fact that only 8 airlines worldwide have been deemed worthy of this meaningful award demonstrates the importance of our success. We are also happy to be selected as a five-star global airline for the 6th time this year. The awards given by APEX met with their owners at the APEX/IFSA EXPO held in Long Beach, California, USA on October 26th.
