Turkiye’s Ambassador to Libya Kenan Yilmaz and Tripoli Embassy Chief Commercial Counselor Yusuf Yildiz also attended the fair.
The meeting focused on ways to improve commercial cooperation between the two countries. Libyan Minister of Economy Mohammed Al-Hweij carefully listened to the opinions of business owners regarding the progress of the trade process and private sector relations in both countries.
The parties also touched upon the challenges and obstacles hindering the mobility of company owners and the processes related to the import and transportation of goods and services between the two parties.
During the meeting, Minister Al-Hweij emphasized the importance of communication and coordination with Turkish business people to support trade movement and facilitate procedures for companies and investors, in cooperation with all relevant institutions.
