Benchmark index earns 38.4 points at Tuesday’s open
Türkiye’s benchmark stock index opened Tuesday at 7,303.30 points, up 0.53%, or 38.43 points, from the previous close.
Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index closed Monday at 7,264.87 points, dropping 3.87%, with a daily trading volume of 43 billion Turkish liras ($1.46 billion)
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 29.3135 as of 10.14 a.m. local time (0714GMT), the euro/lira exchange rate stood at 32.3345, and a British pound traded for 37.2245 Turkish liras.
Brent crude oil was selling for around $78.95 per barrel,while the price of an ounce of gold was $2,074.25.
