TEKNOFEST starts today in Istanbul. TEKNOFEST, which will be held for the 6th time this year, will host its visitors at Ataturk Airport this year. 2023 TEKNOFEST is starting. TEKNOFEST Istanbul stage awaits its visitors today. Istanbul Governorship announced the routes to the TEKNOFEST event area, which will be held at Ataturk Airport. Well, how to go to TEKNOFEST?
WHEN AND WHERE IS TEKNOFEST ISTANBUL?
The 5-day festival, which will be held at Istanbul Ataturk Airport between April 27 and May 01, will include programs full of technology, science, aviation-flight shows, award ceremonies, exhibitions, summits, workshops and events.
HOW TO GET TO TEKNOFEST EVENT AREA?
In the statement made by the Governorship of Istanbul, the following information was given about the routes to the event area:
- “Marmaray: There will be 15-minute intervals on the Halkali-Gebze Marmaray line. Visitors who will use Marmaray can get off at Yesilyurt station to reach the Teknofest area and reach the festival area with IETT Ring buses.
- Metro: M1A Yenikapı – Ataturk Airport Metro line can be used to reach the Teknofest Area directly. There will be flights between M1A Yenikapi – Ataturk Airport Metro Station at 6-minute intervals throughout the festival.
- Private car parks: on M1A Yenikapi – Ataturk Airport; Yenikapi, Emniyet-Fatih, Sagmalcilar, Bus Terminal, Merter, Zeytinburnu, Atakoy – Sirinevler Ispark,
- M3 and M9 are on Kirazli Kaysehir Center and Olympic Bahariye; Metrocity,
- Mahmutbey, Yenimahalle, Kirazli Ispark,
- M2 and M6 are on Yenikapı Haciosman and Levent Bogazici-Hisarustu; Yenikapi, Sishane, 4.Levent, Industry, Seyrantepe, Haciosman, İspark,
- T1 over Kabatas-Bagcilar; Kabatas, Sultanahmet, Cemberlitas, Sehremini Ispark,
- on M4 Kadikoy-Sabiha Gokcen; Unalan, Soganli Ispark,
- on the M5 Uskudar-Cekmekoy; You can reach Teknofest by metro by leaving your private car at the Baglarbasi, Carsi, Dudullu, Cekmekoy Ispark car parks.
- IETT: There will be ring services during the festival between Yesilyurt Marmaray Station – TEKNOFEST Event Area. Visitors who have to use a private vehicle will be able to use the World Trade Center Car Park and the adjacent area and the multi-storey car park at the airport entrance, taking into account the parking capacities. It is important to comply with the warnings and direction signs to be made by the personnel in charge in order to prevent possible disruptions in transportation.
TEKNOFEST SHOWS
Turkish Stars, Solo Turk, Hurkus, Gokbey, Aksungur, Bayraktar TB2, Gendarmerie Steel Wings, Bayraktar AKINCI, ATAK and Anka will also perform flight shows as part of the event.
After Istanbul, TEKNOFEST will host its visitors at the 11th Air Transport Base in Ankara Etimesgut on 30 August-3 September.
KIZILELMA, Turkiye’s new power in the sky, will also be in the festival area. KIZILELMA departed from Corlu Airport and arrived at Ataturk Airport with a flight that took approximately 35 minutes.
