Economists participating in AA Finance’s survey expect the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT) to keep the policy rate unchanged at its meeting next week.
AA Finance’s expectations survey for the CBRT’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting to be held on Thursday, May 25, resulted in the participation of 19 economists.
According to the survey results, all economists expect the policy rate to remain constant at 8.50%.
At the MPC meeting held last month, the policy rate was kept constant at 8.50%.
