Borusan EnBW Energy enters the electric vehicle charging network operation sector

Borusan EnBW Energy, a joint venture company of Borusan Holding and German EnBW AG, received the electric vehicle charging network operator license from the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).

According to the statement made by the company, Borusan EnBW Energy plans to provide effective service in the electric vehicle charging services sector in Turkiye.

The company, which wants to bring together the engineering experience gained while creating its 100% renewable energy portfolio with electric vehicle users, aims to provide its customers with a clean, fast and structured charging experience in technological standards with the fast charging network it will establish.

The company aims to increase this number to 7 thousand points with the investments it will make in this field, by initially providing electric vehicle fast charging services at more than 500 points.

The widespread charging network, which will provide an 80% charge rate in less than 30 minutes, will be supported by a mobile application that offers easy reservations and special solutions for its customers.

Enis Amasyali, General Manager of Borusan EnBW Energy, whose views are included in the statement, stated that they will adopt a customer experience-oriented service approach and said, “We are experiencing the great excitement of investing in a new lane. We aim to be one of the active operators with a widespread fast charging network in this sector, with an investment of more than ₺5 billion to our electric vehicle charging station network until 2030.’
