Hepsiburada CEO Nilhan Onal Gokcetekin: We Will Become the Biggest Solution Partner of E-commerce and Retail Players with HepsiJet and Hepsipay

Hepsiburada CEO Nilhan Onal Gokcetekin made the following assessment regarding the first quarter financial results of 2023:

“We started the year 2023 with the pain of the earthquake disaster that stifled our country. In this quarter, while trying to heal the wounds of the earthquake as Turkiye’s Hepsiburada, we also achieved a 78% growth in our total sales volume compared to the previous year, within the framework of the strategy we put forward. With our growth rate, we achieved the highest profitability rate in the last period and achieved EBITDA of ₺176 million.

We continued to gain the trust of our customers with our superior service understanding and solutions that support purchasing power, and by continuing to be the “most recommended e-commerce brand” in the Turkish e-commerce market, we consolidated our leading position in this field. Redefining the bond we have established with our customers, Hepsiburada Premium has reached one million users in just 10 months.

This quarter, we took important steps in our goal of making HepsiJet, which grows day by day with the technology-oriented logistics solutions it brings to the sector, the most important solution partner for all e-commerce players. On the other hand, with Hepsipay, we have come a long way in sharing our financial technology capabilities with our new corporate customers. We believe that Hepsipay’s secure and fast payment solutions and maturity opportunities will bring important opportunities for the retail sector of our country.

While providing a high customer experience, we focus on sustainable and efficient growth together with our stakeholders. We are determined to continue these strong results we achieved in the first quarter of 2023. In this context, we foresee an annual increase of approximately 95% in our total sales volume and a continuation of our profitability for the second quarter of the year. As the national team of e-commerce, I would like to thank all our stakeholders who contributed to this success.”
